Great upload, seems like only yesterday when this first aired on Channel 4.

Me and my friends never had such good fun as we did in the early 90′s, a defining era of great new music, great clubs and unstoppable DJ’s. Love, laughter and smiling faces…our kids will never party as hard or as mad as we did in these days…

As good today as it was 20 years ago.

The best film / documentary on dance culture ever made and a great, pre chillout, soundtrack that defined a major part of my youth.

I don’t know who owns the rights but this needs an official dvd release to mark its 20th anniversary.

Fantastic site. My mate emigrated to New Zealand in 97 with this docu ,and after seeing it about a million time before he went i wanted to see it another million times, nothing can buy how i felt back then but over the years i have managed to gather almost every piece of music from said film including Weatherall remix of soon which i got about 5/6 years ago so .all we need is the old white doves from 89-90 maybe for just one last time.

Does anyone know what the track is that plays on 7 mins? – “Ah ha.. Here We Go!…” (it plays as everyone chills around the pool)

‘A Short Film About Chilling’ awesome documentary, it’s producers need to package this onto a DVD and make it available as matter of duty, it’s a classic youth culture documentary. It made a massive impact on me as did ‘Style Wars’ about 5 years or so earlier 1984/85-ish. It’s amazing how powerful Art, Music and Dance can be. And how it can truly resonate through your life – once you’ve been zapped ain’t no goin back!!!!!
