If you were a Balearic DJ then these are indeed the tunes that you should be playing, or at least have played at some point between the mid 80′s and now.
This is a brilliant old school balearic mix by DJ Nova that I stumbled upon over on the acid house blog a few months ago. It entirely captures the balearic vibe as it sounded when I was first introduced to it and it has very quickly become one of my favourite and most listened to mixes. if you like it then DJ Nova has since put together a couple more mixes in a similar vein which you can find here over at the acid house blog.

As mentioned, Josephine (La Version Francais), Getting away with it – Electronic, Kaw Liga – The Residents, Beats Workin – Sure Beats Workin…….. I could go on, a fantastic ‘genre’……….
Nice to see this mix hasn’t got a load of hater’s replies questioning the tracklist – it’s a load of wicked tunes put together with love, simple as that. Nice one that DJ!
