The Electric Disco is a website and collective, devoted to bringing you regular selections of some of the best music around and giving you a chance to contribute to an ever expanding library of eclectic and diverse online mixes, reviews and articles.

Inspired by the early eclecticism of the Balearic Beat, the inspirational vision shared by legends such as Kool Herc, David Mancuso, Larry Levan and The Wild Bunch, through to modern day pioneers that continue to break the mould, such as DJ Harvey, The Idjut Boys and The Unabombers to name but a few…

Over the coming months, we will be trawling through the record collections of friends, DJ’s, musicians and music lovers worldwide and sharing with you their selections of what they consider to be the finest that music has to offer, past and present and future.

We are hoping to build a real community vibe around the site and encourage our listeners to get involved as much as possible, so please do drop us a line if you want to contribute in any way, shape or form.
